(¸.•´ (¸.•` Cake Toppers add so much to any special occasion ~ a wedding, a bridal shower, a child's birthday, an adult's birthday, a high school or college graduation, a retirement party ~ or any other kind of life's wonderful celebration.  Cake Toppers can be customized, so that they represent the celebrated person and event in an even more special way.  After the celebration, they are one of a kind treasured keepsakes to be proudly displayed on a shelf or in a curio cabinet for years to come.  A special reminder of a wonderful moment in time.

About Polymer Clay:  Polymer clay has been around for over a century.  Bakelite was one of the first forms of polymer clay available to artisans.  It's actually a soft, smooth clay-like plastic that was developed in a laboratory.  In the late 1930's an  artist in Germany (Fifi Rehbinder) was very happy to see this new product on the market. After experimenting with it, she discovered, and began using  a by-product of it to create doll heads.  She went on to open her own company and polymer clay grew from there.  Polymer clay is made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is soft and pliable when it's raw and can be sculpted into just about any shape.  Once polymer clay is cured in an oven on a low temperature, it becomes hard and durable.  Polymer clay comes in an array of colors and those colors can be mixed to create many other colors.  Polymer clay figurines are remarkably sturdy and won't shatter, but delicate details can break upon impact and should be handled with care.  Pieces sculpted out of polymer clay are fade resistant, water proof and will last a lifetime.  A perfect keepsake for any occasion!

(¸.•´ (¸.•` About My Etsy Shop:

Etsy is a wonderful place to buy and sell all things handmade.  I began my Etsy Shop in July of 2010 to showcase and sell my handmade clay creations.  I am now a proud member of the Polymer Clay Enthusiasts  and the Polymer Clay Teams on Etsy, as well as a member of Polymer Clay Central.

My Etsy Shop is Trina's Clay Creations and I have a diverse collection polymer clay items, ranging from Cake Toppers and Figurines to Vases, Boxes and more.  I welcome custom orders!  You can contact me through my Etsy Shop, let me know what you have in mind ~ and together we can come up with something special, a one of a kind piece just for you!

A lot of love and attention to detail goes into every clay piece that I create.  Extra care is taken when packaging my clay creations for shipment.  I use bubble wrap and tissue paper, as well as boxing it in a larger box to help ensure the pieces remain safe and unbroken during shipping.
